Rental Terms

These are the key terms of our rentals. You will also sign a Rental Agreement for each booking, which you can read in full here.

• Weekend shows only. Rentals are for shows on a Saturday or Sunday, in the UK. Each booking blocks the bikini for 5 days either side of your show.
• Price. The standard rental fee is £120, plus postage, with no separate deposit. Your date is secured once payment is received.
• Non-refundable. Rental bookings are non-refundable once reserved, including if your show is cancelled or you withdraw.
• Delivery and return. The bikini arrives 3–5 days before your show. You return it by tracked post, with everything it came with, no later than the Tuesday after your show.
• Do not wash or alter it. We do a full professional clean on return. You may wipe it gently if needed, but no washing or stain removers. The bikini must not be altered, pinned, glued or restoned.
• Late return. £25 per day or part day.
• Lost or damaged. The replacement value is £320. Report any damage within 24 hours of receiving it or noticing it. If it is lost and not found within 14 days, the replacement value is payable. Excessive staining or damage beyond normal wear may be charged, including a £50 charge for blood. Any charges are confirmed in writing and are payable within 7 days.
• No sharing. The bikini is for you only. Letting someone else wear it carries a £120 fee.
• Sign your agreement. We will email you a link to sign your Rental Agreement online before your bikini is dispatched.

This Rental Agreement is made between Sculpt Stagewear and the customer named at the time of booking. By placing a rental order, the customer confirms that they have read, understood and agreed to the following terms and conditions.

1. The parties

Renter (“you”) – the person named below, who will wear the bikini on stage.

Details we ask for on the agreement: Full name, email, mobile number, date of birth (dd/mm/yyyy), delivery address – line 1, town / city, postcode, country (UK only), instagram (optional), emergency / alternative contact name & number.

2. The rental

2A. Availability and permitted use. Sculpt Stagewear rental bikinis are available to customers within the United Kingdom only. Rental bikinis are hired for use at your agreed bodybuilding, fitness or physique competition only and must not be used for any other purpose without our prior written agreement.

Details we ask for on the agreement: Bikini / suit name & reference, colour, size / fit, competition / show name, show date (Sat / Sun) dd/mm/yyyy, delivery by (3–5 days before show), return by (Tuesday after show), order / booking ref, items included / extras / notes.

3. Fees and payment

The standard rental fee is £120, paid in full at the time of booking to reserve your date. We confirm availability first; your date is only secured once payment is received. We do not currently offer a deposit or security hold option, and there is no separate deposit. The rental fee reserves the selected bikini for your competition date and prevents it from being rented by another competitor for the same period. The charges in section 13 apply if the bikini is returned late, damaged or not returned.

Details we ask for on the agreement: Rental fee (£), delivery / postage (£), total paid (£), payment date (dd/mm/yyyy), payment method (bank transfer / payment link), payment reference.

4. Reserving, booking and cancelling

• 4.1 Rentals are for weekend shows only (Saturday or Sunday). Each booking blocks the bikini for 5 days either side of your show date so it can be cleaned, checked and posted.
• 4.2 Your booking is reserved only when we have confirmed availability and received full payment.
• 4.3 Rental bookings are non-refundable once the bikini has been reserved, because reserving it may prevent other competitors from hiring the same bikini for that date or rental period. This includes changes of mind, cancelled or postponed shows and withdrawal from competition.
• 4.4 If you cancel after the bikini has been dispatched, the full rental fee still applies and the bikini must be returned to us immediately using a tracked postal service.
• 4.5 If you need to change your show date, ask us as early as possible. We will try to move you to another available weekend but cannot guarantee it, and a change is at our discretion.
• 4.6 If we cannot supply the bikini (for example it is damaged or lost before dispatch), we will offer an equivalent suit or a full refund.

5. Delivery and return

• 5.1 Delivery is within the UK only. We will post the bikini so that it arrives 3–5 days before your show. Please tell us straight away if it has not arrived 3 days before.
• 5.2 On arrival, check the bikini and everything supplied, and take your own photos (we recommend the front, back, inside and any marks). Report any existing damage or missing items to us within 24 hours of receipt.
• 5.3 You must return the bikini and everything that came with it (connectors, padding, bags and any extras) by tracked post, no later than the Tuesday following your competition date, unless otherwise agreed in writing by us. Keep your proof of postage and tracking number, and provide tracking information if we ask.
• 5.4 Do not wash the bikini. We carry out a full professional clean on return. Do not dry-clean, iron or use stain removers (see also section 7.3).
• 5.5 Postage to you is charged as shown at checkout. Return postage is paid by you, and the parcel is at your risk until we receive it.
• 5.6 You are responsible for the bikini from the point of delivery until it has been safely received back by us. You must package it securely when returning it. If the bikini is lost, damaged, delayed or returned incorrectly because of insufficient packaging, incorrect address details or failure to use a tracked postal service, you may be liable for the associated costs.

6. Fit

• 6.1 We will give sizing guidance before you book, but fit is not guaranteed. You are responsible for choosing the most suitable rental bikini and for giving accurate measurements or sizing information where required. If you are unsure between sizes, please ask us first.
• 6.2 We cannot refund once the bikini has been dispatched, including where it does not fit, because the bikini will already have been removed from availability and cannot be rented to another customer for that period.
• 6.3 The bikini must not be altered, adjusted, cut, sewn, glued, pinned, restoned or modified in any way (see section 9).

7. Care, hygiene and cleaning

• 7.1 We accept that normal fake tan residue, glaze, oil, make-up and stage product transfer may occur during normal stage use. Normal tan residue is expected and will be cleaned by us on return.
• 7.2 Excessive staining, heavy product build-up, glue, body paint, oil saturation or contamination beyond normal stage use may be subject to additional cleaning, repair or replacement charges.
• 7.3 You must not machine wash, tumble dry, soak, bleach, iron, dry-clean or heavily scrub the bikini, and must not use harsh chemicals, stain removers, strong detergents, excessive water or abrasive cleaning methods. We will carry out a full clean on return. If there are areas you feel need extra attention, you may gently clean them with a mild, bleach-free antibacterial wipe before return.
• 7.4 Because this is intimate garment hire, you must take all reasonable steps to keep the bikini hygienic during use. Keep the bikini away from sharp objects, perfumes, pets and food.
• 7.5 Apply tan and glue before dressing and allow them to dry completely. Use bikini bond or adhesive on skin only, never on the fabric or crystals.
• 7.6 Any garment returned with blood contamination will be subject to a £50 deep cleaning charge. If the garment cannot be safely or hygienically restored, or contamination causes permanent damage, we may charge additional repair or replacement costs up to the full replacement value of £320.

8. Sharing and unauthorised use

The bikini is hired for the named customer only. It must not be shared, lent, sub-let, transferred, sold, resold or worn by any person other than the named customer, and you must not copy, measure for copying or reproduce its design. All designs remain the property of Sculpt Stagewear.

If there is evidence that the bikini has been shared, transferred, lent, resold or worn by another person without our prior written permission, you may be charged an additional rental fee of £120.

9. No alterations or adjustments

You must not alter, adjust, sew, cut, glue, pin, restone, resize or modify the bikini in any way. This includes straps, bottoms, cups, connectors, hooks, rhinestones, lining, padding or any other part of the garment. Any unauthorised alteration may result in repair charges, loss of rental eligibility, or full replacement charges where required.

10. Items included and return of all parts

All items supplied with the rental bikini must be returned, including any extras listed in section 2. Where applicable this includes the bikini top, bikini bottoms, connectors, padding and bags. Missing items may be charged at the cost of replacement.

11. Damage, breakages and rhinestones

• 11.1 You agree to return the bikini in the same condition it was sent, allowing for reasonable wear from normal stage use.
• 11.2 Because competition bikinis are handmade and embellished, some rhinestones may loosen or need replacing after use. Minor rhinestone loss may be treated as normal wear and tear.
• 11.3 The following may be chargeable if we consider them beyond normal wear:
• broken connectors
• snapped straps
• ripped or torn fabric
• stretched or misshapen fabric
• excessive rhinestone loss, or missing stones caused by misuse
• staining beyond normal tan residue, glue marks, body paint or burns
• missing connectors, padding or bags
• unauthorised alterations
• damage caused by incorrect cleaning
• damage caused by sharing or mishandling the bikini
• any damage that makes the bikini unsuitable for future rental
• 11.4 All breakages and damage will be assessed by us on return.

12. Condition evidence

Before dispatch, we will take photo evidence of the bikini’s condition on the day it is sent to you. We may also take photos once it has been returned. These photos may be used as evidence in any dispute about damage, breakages, staining, missing stones, missing items or overall condition on return. You are encouraged to take your own photos on receipt and before return, and must report any existing damage or missing items within 24 hours of receipt (section 5.2).

13. Charges

• 13.1 Late return: £25 per day (or part day) for each day after the agreed return date until the bikini is received back by us. Weekends and bank holidays count as days.
• 13.2 Lost or not returned: if the bikini is not returned, we may charge the full replacement value of £320. If the bikini or any component is not returned within 14 days of the return date, we may treat it as lost.
• 13.3 Full replacement value: the full replacement value of the rental bikini is £320. You may be charged up to that amount if the bikini is:
• not returned
• lost or stolen
• damaged beyond reasonable repair
• returned in an unwearable condition
• altered without permission
• contaminated beyond safe or reasonable cleaning
• returned with missing essential parts
• 13.4 Other charges: damage or excessive staining beyond normal stage wear (section 11.3), cleaning (sections 7.2 and 7.6), missing items (section 10) and unauthorised use (section 8) may be charged at the cost of repair or replacement, up to the full replacement value, plus the specific amounts stated in those sections.
• 13.5 Inspection and notice: returned bikinis will be inspected after we receive them. We will tell you of any proposed late return, cleaning, repair, replacement or missing item charges, with the reason and amount in writing and, where possible, photos, before any charge is made. Charges will be based on the condition of the bikini, the evidence available, and the reasonable cost of cleaning, repair, replacement or loss of rental availability. Charges are payable within 7 days of our request.

14. Right to refuse future rentals

We may refuse future rental bookings from any customer who has previously breached this agreement. This includes, but is not limited to, a bikini being returned late, highly unsanitary, contaminated, altered, broken, unwearable or not returned, or returned in a condition unsuitable for future rental.

15. Your details, photos and data

• 15.1 We keep your name, contact and delivery details only to manage your rental, send confirmations and payment receipts, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your data. You may ask us to see or delete it by emailing sculptstagewear@gmail.com, subject to our legal record-keeping duties.
• 15.2 If you post photos from your show, please tag @sculptstagewear. We may share them with credit unless you tell us otherwise (tick the last box below).

16. General

• 16.1 This agreement is governed by the law of England and Wales. Nothing in it limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
• 16.2 We are not liable for any loss caused by events outside our control (for example postal or courier delays, show cancellations or illness), although we will do everything reasonable to help you. We recommend that you request a tracked, signed-for next-day service if we are posting close to your show date.
• 16.3 This is the entire agreement for this rental. Changes must be agreed in writing (email is sufficient).

17. Confirmation and signatures

By placing a rental order, I confirm that I have read, understood and agreed to these Rental Terms and Conditions, and in particular that:

• I have read and understood this agreement, including that bookings are non-refundable, that fit is not guaranteed, and the late, damage and replacement charges.
• I will take photos of the bikini on arrival and report any damage or missing items within 24 hours.
• I will not wash or alter the bikini and will return everything by tracked post by the Tuesday after my show.
• I accept responsibility for the care, use, hygiene, condition and timely return of the rental bikini.
• I am happy for Sculpt Stagewear to re-share photos of me wearing the bikini (with credit). (Optional)

Full replacement value: £320. Rental fee: £120 (plus postage as shown at checkout). Agreed return date: the Tuesday after the show.
